Site proposal

Court Street contains a number of underused old mills and derelict buildings. The area is located close to town centre shopping, leisure, health, education, open space and visitor attractions and is appropriate for mixed use development including residential, retail, offices and hotel.

Latest news

A recent planning application submitted in 2007 to build new office accommodation on this site was refused, in part because the proposals did not meet the requirements of the Trowbridge urban design framework.

A subsequent and more favourably received planning application for the development of offices on a site owned by Prospect Land was withdrawn during 2008.
