Site proposal

St Stephen's Place and Castle Place Shopping Centre has gone into receivership.

This follows the Councils decision to proceed with a Compulsory Purchase Order for St Stephen's Place. Castle Place Shopping Centre is unaffected by this and is open for business.

The Council is working with the owners' agents to move this site forward and obtain the right development for Trowbridge.

Latest news

A major programme of repairs and refurbishments to the multi-storey car park will be completed by the District Council during September.

This will include improved lighting, providing CCTV and removing graffiti, with the aim of making the car park a safer and more attractive environment for shoppers. Click here for more details.
